Data collection from the web server operator

The web server operator – also known as the web hosting provider – provides access to the website and the web pages of DSCM e.V. on the Internet. The controller for the processing of personal data is eveca GmbH, Lotte-Branz-Straße 28, 93055 Regensburg, Germany. Further information can be found in the data protection information of the provider eveca GmbH at

https://www.eveca.de/datenschutz.html

Server log files

The provider of the pages automatically collects and stores information about every access to this website in so-called server log files. Every visit to our website is therefore logged.

The server operator collects data for the following purposes:

  • Detection of and protection against cyber attacks of all kinds
  • Maintaining the functional operating status
  • Monitoring the functionality of the server systems

Each time a page from the DSCM e.V. website is accessed and each time a file is retrieved, the web hosting provider stores data about this process in the server log files. When a request is made, various information about the data transferred from the server to the user is logged. Other information that your browser automatically transmits to the web server for technical reasons is also stored in the server log files.

In detail, these are

  • Name of the retrieved file
  • Browser type and browser version
  • Operating system used
  • Referrer URL
  • Host name of the accessing computer
  • Date and time of the server request
  • IP address

The web server operator uses the log data only for statistical evaluations for the above-mentioned purposes. However, the web server operator reserves the right to check the log data retrospectively if there is a justified suspicion of unlawful use based on concrete evidence. This data is not stored on a personal basis. This data is not merged with other data sources. Your IP address will be deleted by the web server operator shortly after your visit.
We cannot draw any conclusions about your person from the IP address you are currently using, as this data would not be transmitted to us by your provider even on request. We cannot – and do not want to – track which user has accessed which data. It goes without saying that your data will not be passed on to third parties.

Processing of data (member and contract data)

We collect, process and use personal data only insofar as it is necessary for the establishment, content or modification of the legal relationship (inventory data). This is done on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR, which permits the processing of data for the performance of a contract or pre-contractual measures. We collect, process and use personal data about the use of our website (usage data) only insofar as this is necessary to enable the user to use the service or to bill the user.

The member data collected will be stored for the duration of the membership and deleted after termination of membership. Statutory retention periods remain unaffected.

Contact form

If you send us inquiries via the contact form, your details from the inquiry form, including the contact details you provide there, will be stored by us for the purpose of processing the inquiry and in the event of follow-up questions. We do not pass on this data without your consent.

The data entered in the contact form is therefore processed exclusively on the basis of your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR). You can revoke this consent at any time. All you need to do is send us an informal message by e-mail. The legality of the data processing operations carried out until the revocation remains unaffected by the revocation.

We will retain the data you provide on the contact form until you request its deletion, revoke your consent for its storage, or the purpose for its storage no longer pertains (e.g. after fulfilling your request). Mandatory statutory provisions – in particular retention periods – remain unaffected.

You can also apply to us electronically. We will of course only use your details to process your application and will not pass them on to third parties.
